Very nice, affordable Merlot. Aroma was strong but not overpowering, definet cherry and ripe red fruit, I thought I detected some black current. You notice the tannin on the atack, with an astringent slightly acid feel. The Evolution was fruity with Cherry overtones. I picked up a slight oak tast on the midium finish.

I liked this C.S. Not overpowering nose, nice up front and smooth across the tongue with a long several note after. It had oak, but not too much. Extremely well balanced and a very pleasant drink. Perfect oak balance. I'd drink it again.

I primarily noticed the Cherry and fruit in the Aroma and it followed through with a pleasent fruity taste. I also noticed a spice in the aroma but couldn't pinpoint it.

First time back to Silverado Merlot in about 10 years. Smooth and fruit forward as rememebered. Just a hint of mineral tones coming up, maybe more to come in time. Not as stellar as I remembered, but very good. Not a great value at $27.
