2005 Chateau Bellevue Lugagnac (France / Bordeaux )   Reviewed by: a1rusty Rated: 84 pts   This wine was somewhat of a disappointment, and is proof that while 2005 was a great year for Bordeaux wines, not all Bordeaux wines were great. While it paired well with charcoal-broiled ribeye steaks, it fell short of being a good "sipping" wine - astringent on the palate, with a somewhat bewildering aroma... not bad, but... different. Probably not a "buy again."
